Collier Doubles Down Against Engelbert - LITE

October 28, 2025 | LITE Edition: #86
Hey, Hoophead!
There’s never a quiet day in the W. Just when it seemed like the CBA drama was cooling off, Napheesa Collier turned up the heat again with another pointed message for WNBA leadership. During her exit interview last month, Phee had claimed that Commissioner Engelbert once told her Caitlin Clark “should be grateful she makes $16 million off the court.”
Now, Collier has gone a step further, accusing the WNBA of unfair and even “illegal” treatment of the Indiana Fever star.

Sunday’s Poll Result: In a close battle, 32% of you voted that Diana Taurasi is UConn’s best player in NCAAT history, while 28% feel it’s Maya Moore.

South Carolina’s loss is LSU’s gain.
We all remember that move: MiLaysia Fulwiley’s behind-the-back magic that leaves defenders spinning has become her signature play. She even broke it out during South Carolina’s Sweet 16 win over Maryland last season.
Now, with Fulwiley suiting up for LSU, Tiger fans can look forward to seeing that same dazzling flair, this time in purple and gold.

2 Truths, 1 Lie
| Only two out of these three statements are true. Can you guess the lie? |
Last Game’s Result: This one stumped quite a few of you! Only 25% got it right — the lie was “Azzi Fudd won the USBWA National Freshman of the Year.” That award actually went to DePaul’s Aneesah Morrow in 2022.
So yes, while it may be hard to believe, it’s true: Paige Bueckers does hold the highest scoring average in UConn history (19.8), and Geno Auriemma really led the Huskies to 14 straight Final Fours between 2008-22.
