This was a big game. The No. 1 picks from the last four WNBA drafts were all on the same court, and there was plenty of excitement around both teams.
On one side, we had the Indiana Fever, full of confidence after coming so close to the championship series last season despite dealing with multiple injuries. On the other side, the Dallas Wings entered the season with a new head coach, hoping to bounce back after finishing at the bottom of the standings.
The result?
Perhaps not what many expected. The Wings pulled off a three-point win after the Fever missed two late opportunities to tie the game in the closing moments.
