Fever Push Aces Out of the Spotlight - LITE

October 12, 2025 | LITE Edition: #77

👋 Hey, Hoophead!
All’s well that ends well. However, the Mercury might have lived just the opposite of that. A season that tipped off with a roster haul and saw Phoenix taking down the defending champs and the league’s No. 1 team should have been celebrated. Amid Finals Disappointment, Mercury GM Defends Bonner as Fans Revisit Fever Exit
Despite the Mercury's great post-season run, DeWanna Bonner’s Fever departure is the ghost that just won’t stop haunting her. So the Phoenix GM finally decided to address it.

Bonner averaged 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds with Phoenix in the regular season, and 9.1 points with 6.8 rebounds in 26.2 playoff minutes — far more than Fever forwards Brianna Turner (2.4 pts) and Makayla Timpson (2.3 pts).
