The WNBA has come back to the table with a proposal that keeps the same salary cap and revenue-sharing structure, after calling the union’s demands “unrealistic.” And while the noise around a possible strike is only getting louder, there’s also a wave building against the players. While all of us have been talking about the one undefeated powerhouse in women’s basketball (yes, the UConn Huskies), there was movement on the other end of the standings, too. Yesterday, the list of winless teams shrank to just one after Central Connecticut and the Niagara Purple Eagles finally got their first wins of the season.

Which means only the Valparaiso Beacons are still searching for that elusive first victory, with just four games left on the schedule.
