👋 Hey Hoopheads!
Déjà vu was the theme of the WNBA this past week. Reminiscent of the NCAA clashes that started it all, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese met in a marquee matchup for the last time this regular season. Records abounded here and there, haters were silenced, fans were thrilled, and veterans came out in support.
This clash of the titanic rookies also set the ground for Reebok's revival, spearheaded by the Dunkman extraordinaire, Mr. Shaquille O'Neal, who came out to support his niece. After Reese thanked Shaq last week, this meant a lot to her. But it was LeBron James who got another laugh over Shaq while Caitlin Clark enjoyed a sweet victory.
Indiana Fever is enjoying a revival of its own, making veteran Kelsey Mitchell quite emotional. After we covered one of the biggest NCAA stars, Paige Bueckers, in the last edition, this time it is one with the most potential. Leave it to USC Trojans superstar Juju Watkins to serve a little mood booster with her cute relatable misfortune.
