Today, September 10, 2004, Lisa Leslie recorded the WNBA’s third-ever triple-double, joining Sheryl Swoopes (1999) and Margo Dydek (2001) as the only players to achieve the feat. She also tied Dydek’s record with 10 blocks, adding 29 points and 15 rebounds. Leslie’s dominant performance led the Los Angeles Sparks to an 81-63 victory over the Detroit Shock, boosting their playoff hopes.
