The LSU game was easily the highlight of the day. From Flau’jae Johnson’s senior night entrance in a custom “Feaux” jersey honoring Joe Burrow, to Kim Mulkey’s eye-catching outfit and her fiery yet funny halftime moment that quickly went viral, the night had a bit of everything. And just when the night seemed to wind down, Mulkey engaged in a heated exchange with reporters over “personal questions” during the postgame press conference.

Senior Night at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center delivered a moment no one will forget. With under a minute left against Tennessee, Kim Mulkey called Izzy Besselman’s name. As she checked in wearing No. 14, the ovation quickly turned emotional. 

And understandably so.

 Besselman hadn’t played since March 2024 because of a rare heart condition, her last appearance coming in LSU’s NCAA Tournament win over Middle Tennessee State.
