There is plenty happening around the WNBA right now. Dallas Wings head coach Jose Fernandez shared his frustration following the team’s back-to-back losses, while the Indiana Fever GM reacted to Lisa Leslie becoming the first WNBA player to receive a statue.
Meanwhile, Paige Bueckers opened up about an important change she has finally embraced in her game.
P.S. Today’s send is a special one for us, and we’re glad to have you here sharing it with us.

Jose Fernandez blasted the Dallas Wings’ “selfishness” after their late collapse against the Minnesota Lynx.

With every passing game, the decision to draft Olivia Miles with the No. 2 pick is looking more and more like the right call. In her match-winning performance against the Wings, Miles became just the third player in WNBA history to record 10+ points and 5+ assists in each of her first three career games, joining legends Candace Parker and Sue Bird.
On top of that, she also holds the record for the most assists by any player across their first three career games over the last decade.
The New York Liberty might be without stars like Sabrina Ionescu, Satou Sabally, and Leonie Fiebich, but they just keep finding ways to win and make history while doing it. With their latest win, New York became the first team in WNBA history to score more than 95 points in each of their first four games of a season.
A major reason behind that explosive start has been their French rookie, Pauline Astier, who has now dropped 62 points across her last three games.
