Sabrina’s LA Home Robbed - LITE

December 17, 2025 | LITE Edition: #125

Hey, Hoophead!

‘Action-filled’ feels like the right word for yesterday. WNBA stars, college hoops, and even high school basketball all had their share of unforgettable moments, in the best and worst ways possible. And with all that happening, we’re also beginning our year-end coverage, where we’ll take an in-depth look back at the year gone by, and also forward.

Las Vegas continues to surprise us!

First, the city gave us the Aces and their unbelievable second-half turnaround in the WNBA season. And now, it’s a high school team going viral. What happened between Del Sol and Cheyenne on Dec. 10 was nothing short of a basketball massacre on the scoreboard.

Del Sol won 104–1, with Cheyenne’s lone point coming from a free throw in the first quarter. And this wasn’t some random fluke either. The Dragons have outscored opponents 685–281 overall. Before the Cheyenne matchup, they beat two opponets on back-to-back days, allowing just 51 combined points.

Crazy doesn’t even define it!
