Once again, sloppy play put TCU in trouble. But let’s not dwell on what didn’t look pretty. Yes, they put up a season-low point total, but in the end, all that mattered was escaping a hostile environment with a win.
And the winning moment belonged to Marta Suarez.
Trailing 50–48 with 2.8 seconds remaining, Suarez slipped to the top of the key on an inbounds play and buried a step-back three at the buzzer, lifting TCU past West Virginia in dramatic fashion.
