Team USA’s Clark Treatment Questioned - LITE

November 26, 2025 | LITE Edition: #106
Hey, Hoophead!
Let’s start with a reminder that basketball has absolutely no intention of slowing down, even during the holiday break. And while we’ll be right here bringing you every update, it’s also our ‘solemn duty’ to debunk all those viral claims (even if we fell for them, too) that keep popping up. Before knocking out those today, let’s first see how Sophie might have inched a bit closer to her ‘dream’ and and why Clark still remains at the center of some “mistreatment” chatter.

Duke has a chance to get back some votes after slipping out of the top 25 if they can give South Carolina a real fight during Players Era Women's Championship. But before they meet, UCLA and Texas will be battling it out. The winners from each matchup will move on to the championship game on Thanksgiving.

Who’s Your Pick to Win the Players Era Championship? |
Tuesday’s Poll Result: Nearly 40% of you believe even a Team USA link-up won’t spark a Clark-Reese friendship.

Women’s basketball has this fun tradition of holding tournaments during Thanksgiving week. And while the Players Era Championship has already grown pretty popular on the men’s side, the inaugural women’s field is actually small in numbers. But the fact that it features four of the nation’s best teams makes it feel like a mini Final Four.
What really makes it one of a kind, though, is the money involved. You might find the amount for each participant interesting!
But that’s not all. There are tons of holiday tournaments rolling out this week, giving us one of the best stretches of women’s basketball. You’ve got the Hoopfest Women’s Basketball Classic, the Bracket Championship Game, the Goombay Division Championship Game, and so many more lined up. So, get ready!

Thank you for reading She Got Game. We’d really appreciate any feedback you have for us to improve, so please drop it below.
