2 Truths, 1 Lie
Can you guess the lie? Only two of these three statements are true. |
Here's the answer to our last "2 Truths, 1 Lie". Only 55.9% of the voters were correct.
Alyssa Thomas became the WNBA's all-time playoff assist leader in these playoffs.
Truth. Thomas, now with the Phoenix Mercury, set a new WNBA playoff record for assists in a single postseason, surpassing Courtney Vandersloot's mark from 2021. She averaged 9.2 assists per game in the playoffs, leading all players and breaking her own regular-season assist records along the way.
Wilson and Collier were the only unanimous First All-WNBA Team selections.
Truth. A'ja Wilson and Napheesa Collier received unanimous votes from the AP panel for the 2025 All-WNBA First Team, the only two players to do so. Alyssa Thomas earned a First Team spot but wasn't unanimous.
Caitlin Clark was present at every Fever game despite her injury.
Lie. Clark suffered a season-ending soft-tissue injury in late August, missing the final 22 regular-season games and all of Indiana's playoff appearances (where the Fever were eliminated early by the Atlanta Dream). While her off-court presence boosted fan engagement, she wasn't at every game. Early-season crowds felt her absence acutely, and she only attended select home and away matchups post-injury.
