Hey, Hoophead!
The day we’ve been waiting for all week is here, with a full slate of crazy games. But before that begins, we’ve got a few updates to kickstart your morning. From the WNBA’s “worst villain” making a return in Unrivaled to some offseason chatter that might just be music to your ears, let’s dive in and start your Sunday the right way.

Sophie Cunningham is an unrestricted free agent. Nothing is set in stone, but it looks like Fever fans have plenty of reason to stay optimistic about her return to Indy. |

Here’s a roundup of the stories you loved most from last week:

Friday’s Poll Result: 65% of you believe UConn won’t lose its No. 1 spot to Texas at any point this season.

Sundays are for women’s hoops! All your top 5 teams, including the defending champs, hit the court today, plus four ranked matchups you won’t want to miss. Check out the full schedule here.

Audi Crooks has been dethroned (at least for now). If you remember, Iowa State star previously held the single-game scoring crown for the 2025-26 women’s college basketball season by scoring 47 points in a win over Indiana. Now, Maggie Doogan owns that with a 48-point explosion in a game so chaotic it needed three overtimes for Richmond to finally seal it.

Unrivaled is back, and so are the tunnel fits. Without any doubt, Kelsey Plum is our winner for this week. The Phantom guard absolutely killed it in, but the courtside slay went to another star who keeps leaving us shook every single time. Chic doesn’t even begin to cover it.
