She was there when, in 2023–24, the Tigers ended the Bruins’ season in the Sweet 16. So the very next year, when the stakes got higher, this time in the Elite Eight, and she was having the best season of her career, the 6’7 center wasn’t about to let it happen again. With 17 points, seven rebounds, and six blocks, Betts was making tough, aggressive plays all night.
One of the prime examples of just how badly she wanted it came on this one sequence.
